Truly Lovely, Calabar

Hello Beautiful People!

So one of the highlights of my time here in Calabar was meeting Chakie and Zahzee of Ourblogazine.com
They are amazing girls and I had the best time with them.
I saw a review on their blog of this place with waffles. I was like waffles in Calabar??? I have to see this.

So after a lot of procrastination and dilly-dallying, Odun and I went to check it out. Our friend Ifeanyi, saw our snaps and came immediately to meet us. We were not disappointed.

Food: We all had waffles because well, that was what we went there for and the meal was very filling. The eggs were well done and they were generous with the baked beans. My strawberry milkshake however was horrible! It was basically blended strawberry ice cream that was hot. Yes i said hot ice cream lol.

Location: Sacramento Estate, Off Marian Road, Calabar

Pricing : I stole this photo of the menu from OurBlogazine so you can see pricing is pretty decent.

Service: Slow!!!! It took over an hour for the food to come so we concluded that if there was ever traffic at the place, they would not be able to handle it.

Ambiance: Lovely, we loved all of the vintage paintings and quotes, it was very airy as the estate has alot of trees and open spaces. We spent about 4 hours or so there just gisting and eating. It was a good time.

Would i go again? of course, i'd love to try a pizza or salad
