Houndstooth

Hi Guys!
so this is the dress i made with the rest of my dogtooth fabric.
i wore the skirt in a previous post you can check out here
ive been making alot of dresses recently. Since ive gone out of my 'vintage' phase, i returned all of my moms clothes to her closet.
most of the dresses ive been making are very simple and practical. i like this especially because of the way it hugs my body so i look all sexy and shii lol.
also i can wear it to church, weddings, work, school....everywhere basically.
when making clothes i think its better to think about practicality rather than creativity. im not saying you shouldnt be creative its just if i decided to make this dress a gorgeous cut out, open back dress. the places i could wear it to would be limited. and i would probably just wear it once and that would be a waste.
Anyways ive worn this dress two times. first to church with my fuchsia shoes and then to a wedding with my oxblood shoes and im still going to wear it many times because i love it!
Quick shalla again to Pringy for getting me the fabric you can check out her blog here
so tell me what you guys think, when making clothes are you practical or creative?
